A scientific and practical conference on “Coronavirus infection: topical issues of diagnosis and treatment in medical practice” with the international participation of the German International Organization (GIZ) in Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Andijan State Medical Institute, Center for Professional Development of Medical Professionals has started in Andijan Hamkor Business Center. The three-day conference is being held offline and online.
Today, at the opening ceremony of the conference, K. Salohiddinov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Andijan State Medical Institute, Cornelia Becker, Project Manager of the International Organization for Medical Technology Management in Uzbekistan, A.Fozilov, Professor of Ultrasound Diagnostics of the Republican Center for Medical Professional Development, G.Yusupalieva, Head of the Department of Medical Radiology of the Tashkent Medical Pediatric Institute, N.Khakimov, Associate Professor of the Department of Tuberculosis and Pulmonology, Microbiology, Immunology and Virology made reports at the conference. Participants exchanged views on the fact that the risk of coronavirus has slightly decreased due to the popularity of vaccination today, but the emergence of new strains, the use of new innovative technologies in the treatment of the disease, sharing world experience.
After the plenary session there was a lyrical digression. The guys from our institute performed a dance dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Andijan Polka.
The conference continues. Currently, leading experts from around the world and in our country are lecturing on the process of coronavirus infection on the background of various diseases, methods of treatment of patients, ways of transmission and prevention of infection in children and pregnant women as well as treatment measures.
The three-day conference will include seminars and master classes, focusing on the following topics: “Women’s and children’s health: the introduction of innovative ultrasound multivariate technologies – a modern requirement”, “Multiparametric ultrasound examination of the mammary glands” and “Multiparametric ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland and pancreas”.
