On the eve of the 2025/2026 academic year, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute professor M. Madazimov visited the student dormitories to inspect the modern living and recreational facilities being developed for students.

During the visit, the rector closely familiarized himself with the ongoing preparations at two newly constructed dormitories, each designed to accommodate 400 students – totaling 800 places – built under a public-private partnership. These modern dormitories meet all sanitary and hygiene standards, they are equipped with contemporary furniture and internet access, and are designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for students.
In addition, dedicated recreational and dining areas are being established within the dormitory premises. These zones are intended to offer students opportunities for open-air leisure, dining and cultural activities. Landscaping and infrastructure development in the area have now entered their final phase.

Professor M. Madazimov paid particular attention to the quality of the ongoing work, the timelines for completion and the extent to which the facilities meet students’ needs. While inspecting the construction and landscaping efforts, the rector issued specific instructions to responsible parties to ensure that all work is completed with high quality and within the established deadlines, emphasizing the importance of maximizing student comfort.
These initiatives represent a significant step towards not only supporting students’ academic pursuits but also ensuring a healthy lifestyle and meaningful use of their free time.
