Andijan State Medical Institute and medical faculty of Kharkov National Medical University have established regular cooperation in academic sphere, students’ exchange, educational and methodological support as well as conducting on-line conferences.
Five Ukrainian students spent one month practice in the clinical settings of ASMI, Simulation Training Center, participated in practical classes on Surgery, Therapy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and improved their knowledge and skills.
During the internship, foreign students made friends with ASMI students, travelled along the sights of Andijan in places such as Khanabad city, visited the recreation area Bogi Babur and Andijan Registan square. They watched Uzbek national culture, traditions and values.
On July 22, 2019 the meeting dedicated to the end of the summer practical training was held with participation of the rector of ASMI. At the meeting rector of the institute M.Madazimov shared his views on the summer practice and noted that cooperation in scientific and practical research will be stable and continuous. The head of International Cooperation Department of the institute K.Salakhiddinov noted that summer internship was successful.
At the end of the meeting, each Ukrainian student was awarded with Diplomas of various degree for their active participation in the educational practice and achievements in sports.
On the same day, the students said goodbye to their friends from Andijan and left for their homeland with unforgettable impressions.
