Islam is a humanistic religion. Islamic education calls on people to do good, no matter what their religion. Interethnic harmony and religious tolerance are practiced in our multi-ethnic country. Today, the representatives more than 16 different religions conduct their activities in their mosques and organizations.
These ideas were discussed at the roundtable discussion on “Uzbekistan is a country of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance” which was held at Andijan State Medical Institute. Pro-rector on Youth Affairs of the Institute Askhanov P.Kh conducted a roundtable discussion on “Uzbekistan is a country of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance”.
During the meeting, the students asked Imam-Khatib Rojiddinov M. questions about the life of Islamic scholars, religious movements, and opportunities for religious education. Imam-Khatib answered the students’ questions in details.
At the end of a meaningful roundtable discussion Imam-Khatib Rojiddinov M. emphasized the need for young people to be well-trained professionals in response to the care provided by our government for all the participants.
