Introduction of modern technologies into the medical field is a requirement of the time. For this purpose, an agreement was signed on December 19, 2018 between Andijan State Medical Institute and Rostock University of Germany.
In accordance with this agreement, leading German specialists were involved in the training at Andijan State Medical Institute, conducted practical classes and workshops, delivered lectures for students, Master students and clinical residents, as well carried out as distant lectures and patients’ medical examinations. A number of measures are planned to further strengthen cooperation.
The work of the delegation of Andijan State Medical Institute, consisting of the rector of ASMI M.M.Madazimov, head of International Cooperation department K.Z. Salakhiddinov, docent of the department of Urology M.A.Shodmonov, who arrived in Germany to participate in the 600th Anniversary of Rostock University as well as to reach agreements on a number of issues regarding the establishment of a joint educational program with this prestigious university, was successful.
On November 15, 2019 a memorandum was signed between Andijan State Medical Institute and Rostock University (Germany) on the joint Master’s degree program in Medical Biotechnology. Work on academic mobility, student exchange, and conducting distance lectures between Rostock University and ASMI has been ongoing since December 2018.
The delegation of Andijan State Medical Institute got acquainted with the Institute of Medical Bioengineering of Rostock University. The latest news and nanotechnologies in this field were studied.
The delegation visited the laboratory of the company “CENTOGENE”, the partner of Rostock University. Here they got acquainted with high-tech processes for the determination of human genome and biochemical analysis. It was agreed to cooperate with this company in the future.
We hope for further fruitful cooperation of Andijan State Medical Institute and Rostock University of Germany.
