An International online video conference was held in the conference hall of Andijan State Medical Institute under the guidance of MD H.H.Tursunov, the dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians on the initiative of the 2nd Department of Internal Diseases, Endocrinology, Functional Diagnostics, Phthisiology, Health Management and Public Health in collaboration with the Department of Diabetology of the Ukrainian National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. Shupik.
Professors and teachers of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians, students of Master’s program, clinical residents, students of the institute, endocrinologists, neurologists and cardiologists from Andijan region participated in the international video conference. While opening the video conference with the opening speech, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, professor M.M. Madazimov emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the development of medical field.
Then the online lectures began. The head of the Department of Diabetology of the Ukrainian National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. Shupik, professor B.N.Mankovsky, associate professors of this department N.N.Jerdyova, I.N. Kondratskaya, as well as professors and teachers of Kharkov National University of Pharmacology, National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolts, delivered lectures on the methods of diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus.
R.Sh.Sayfutdinova, docent of Andijan State Medical Institute, also participated in the international online video conference with the lecture. We hope that the international online video conference will contribute to the implementation of modern methods of preventing and treating diabetes, as well as finding a positive solution to the problem of diabetes.
