Andijan State Medical Institute hosted a republican online video conference on "Etiopathogenesis, clinic, treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection in Andijan region".

The online video conference, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the institute G. M. Khodjimatov.

Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians H.H. Tursunov, deans of the faculties, heads of the departments, qualified professors and teachers of the institute in such areas as infectious diseases, pulmonology, endocrinology took part in the online video conference held in the Conference Hall  of Andijan State Medical Institute.

The online video conference was also attended by more than 40 experts in this area from different regions of the country through the Zoom platform – communication platform for remote conferencing.

At the video conference, the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of Andijan State Medical Institute, associate professor Dildora Bahadirovna Mirzakarimova made a speech on «Etiopathogenesis, clinic, treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection in  Andijan region.»  The speaker provided analytical data on the etiopathogenesis, clinic, treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection in patients with cornovirus in Andijan region.

The lecture was followed by an online Q&A session.  Participants of the online video conference, devoted to «Etiopathogenesis, clinic, treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection in  context of Andijan region» expressed their views on the topic, and the issues raised were discussed.
