The 9th of May – Day of Memory and Honor in our country is widely celebrated on these days.
Due to this remarkable date, various events, meetings, holidays are being organized in different places. On November 8,2019, the event dedicated to the Day of Memory and Honor was held at Andijan State Medical Institute. Veterans, teachers, professors of all departments visited the event.
The rector of the institute M.Madazimov congratulated everyone with the holiday and expressed his sincere wishes.
In addition to the chairman of the trade union committee of the institute Sh.Dehkanov made a report about the special decree on the occasion of the holiday.
During the event, a group of veterans who worked for many years at the institute, such as Z. Salokhiddinov, A.Mehmonov, Sh.Kodirov, T.Muhitdinova, J. Saidkhodjayeva, as well as veterans of SDP «Adolat» of Uzbekistan have been handed over gifts from the institute’s administration and trade union committee.

Therefore, on the eve of the Day of Memory and Honor the rector of the institute M.Madazimov and a group of staff visited the teachers’ homes who worked at the institute for many years. Veterans of the Second World War Alexander Vasilevski, as well as Klara Temirova, Dilorom Mamajonova, Klara Abdusalomova, Arofat Karimova and veterans of the departments congratulated the veterans.
In addition to, 20 doctors and teachers of the institute have been working in the Institute for many years.
In honor of the Day of Memory and Honor, the the deceased rectors of the institute A.Alimov, Yu.Atabekov, E.Jumaboev and the deceased professors – V.Babayeva, S.Rahimov were visited and planted with beautiful flowers. In honor of their memory, the surahs from Koran was recited.
