THE NEXT REGULAR SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL MEETING WAS HELD

A scientific council meeting was held today, on September 24, at Andijan State Medical Institute. The meeting was attended by the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov, the vice-rectors and Scientific Council members.

The Institute Rector opened the meeting and announced the agenda. The meeting began, as is customary, with the recognition of recipients of academic titles and degrees and the winners of national and international competitions.

Subsequently, the reports of the first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work S. Salohiddinov regarding the celebratory event held in honor of October 1st – Teacher and Mentor’s Day; the analysis of the nine-month rating results in departments by the vice-rector for Scientific Work and Innovations K. Salohiddinov; information provided by the vice-rector for Information and Communication Technologies J. Jahongirov, concerning the activities carried out within the HEMIS program; data from the head of the Educational Department Q. Isaqov on language learning and certification procedures in the departments as well as the integration of disciplines from the top 300 universities into the academic curricula were all heard.

It is also noted that the delegation of Andijan State Medical Institute participated in the International Cleveland Aortic Symposium held in Cleveland, USA, which was one of the largest and most prestigious events in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery. During the symposium, the Institute’s rector M. Madazimov was awarded a certificate in recognition of the strong cooperation established between Cleveland Clinic and Andijan State Medical Institute. This certificate was presented by the vice-rector for International Cooperation F. Rasulov.
