Uzbekistan is a multiethnic state. Today, more than 130 different nationalities live peacefully in our country.
Currently, various events under the slogan “Uzbekistan is a tolerant country” are being held throughout the country. Additionally, at Andijan State Medical Institute, an educational event titled “Inter-Ethnic Harmony and Tolerance are Eternal Values” was organized with participation of international students.
Students from countries such as India, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan participated in the event. The students danced and sang in their national costumes. Their performances in Uzbek national costumes and in the pure Uzbek language were especially appreciated.
