Today, on October 19, a training seminar devoted to current issues was held in Andijan State University in cooperation with higher educational institutions as well as the representatives of Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, regional divisions of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and higher education of Andijan region.
Representatives of the republican working group, the head of the regional department of the Republican Center for Spirituality, the vice-rectors of all higher education institutions in the region, the heads of the youth work, spirituality and enlightenment department, university psychologists, O’ Leaders of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, deputy deans and tutors participated in this seminar.
At the beginning of the seminar Otabek Bozorov, the head of the working group and the responsible officer of the Presidential Administration, spoke about the comprehensive reforms implemented in higher education institutions, the organization of moral and educational processes and protection from moral threats among students and youth. Effectiveness of organizational-practical work and the activities of university psychologists in the prevention and elimination of offenses among young people were analyzed.
During the meeting Umidillo Sattarov,the head of the Youth Affairs Agency, gave a presentation lecture within the scope of three areas aimed at social support, development of talent and realization of intellectual potential within the framework of education and volunteering. Young people were given information about privileges and opportunities.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs of Andijan State Medical Institute, heads of departments, youth leaders, prevention inspectors and deans’ assistants of faculties attended this ceremony.
At the end of the seminar suggestions and opinions of the participants regarding this sphere were heard, tasks to be implemented in future and important directions for raising the cooperation of regional units to a higher level were defined.
