On December 6, 2018 members of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JIKA) Tanigushi Hajime, Matsuno Masato, Takemura Yoshimasa, Taketsuru Eyko and coordinators of the Agency Representative Office in Uzbekistan Malik Muhitdinov and Sharifzoda Sharipov visited Andijan State Medical Institute. The delegation is visiting our country with the aim of study and explore new projects in Uzbekistan. The delegation members were warmly welcomed by the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, professor M.Madazimov, chief physician of the clinic of ASMI B.Rakhmanov, dean of the faculty of Physicians’ Advanced Training and Retraining Kh.Tursunov and others.
After that, in the Department of International Relations a sincere and friendly talks with members of the Japanese delegation were held. Rector of ASMI M.Madazimov presented Japanese guests detailed information about the activities of the institute. He talked about educational, methodological, scientific and international cooperation, answered the questions of members of the delegation. He also emphasized the need for modern treating and diagnostic equipment to transform the clinic of ASMI into scientific, educational and treatment facility that meets all the requirements of today.
During the interview, chief physician of ASMI clinic B.Rakhmonov introduced the current activity of the clinic, which is the main educational base of the institute. He dwelled on the activities of the departments and told about lack of modern medical equipment.
During the meeting Professor Kh.Tursunov briefed about the work carried out by the faculty of Physicians’ Advanced Training and Retraining.
At the end of conversation, rector of the institute M.Madazimov expressed confidence that the cooperation will continue to be successful in the future and will be useful for medical students, as well as young scientists and researchers conducting scientific researches. In turn, Tanigushi Hajime, the head of the delegation, also thanked ASMI and its clinic for the information presented.
Then Japanese specialists visited the simulation training center of the institute and got acquainted with the conditions and practical processes there.
Then the delegation members visited the clinic of Andijan state medical institute.
During the meeting, the docent of the department of Operative diagnostics, Endo-surgery, Dentistry and Urology of the faculty of Physicians’ Advanced Training and Retraining B.Rakhmonov told the guests that they have ancient relationships with Japan, including the Japanese government program of charitable assistance by small-scale social projects, introduced to the people of Uzbekistan, the medical equipment that is currently being used. He gave detailed answers to their questions.
