On April 3,2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan ShavkatMirziyoyev once again addressed the citizens of Uzbekistan at the beginning of a video conference in support of entrepreneurship in the fight against the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Proof of the words of our President: “Each citizen of Uzbekistan is under the care of the state and society!”- is evident in every measure taken today.
In his address, the head of our state once again drew attention to our youth – our students. Our President: “Dear children, do not waste your time at home! Study online lessons diligently.
Read a book, increase your knowledge, do not miss a single day of physical training and exercise, ”he said.
In response to this appeal, I believe that our young people – our students – will also present great achievements and victories to our President and people. In this case, educational institutions have created all the conditions for schoolchildren and students to gain in-depth knowledge.
In particular, Andijan State Medical Institute together with qualified international specialists of the I-EDU Group were placed 118,000 teaching aids in the amount of 699 Gega bytes in 2 weeks, including 17,000 books, 30 teaching aids, 2451 video lectures, 802 audio lectures, as well as 13 thousand presentations, 80 thousand test questionsfor distance learning programs for students to study during an extra holidays.
There are 540 subjects in 7 bachelor’s degree programs, a total of 5,300 people, including 4,320 undergraduate students and 387 master’s degree students through distance and independent study programs.
The platform http://e-univer.adti.uz/ has been introduced to manage the distance learning process.
I am confident that our students will make effective use of the distance education system and become qualified doctors. The words of gratitude expressed to the doctors in the Addresses of the President will be the basis for these efforts and aspirations of our students.

We need to further strengthen our national values – greeting with a hand on the chest, pouring water when a guest comes home, keeping distance in public places, eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. Each of us must fully comply with the rules of safety and sanitation in our daily work.
Our people are strong, enterprising and wise. As noted in the Addresses of the President: «If we all become more united, patient, and fully follow the recommendations of doctors, we will certainly overcome this disease faster!»
