The meeting of the Academic Council was led by the rector of the Institute, professor M.Madazimov.
At the invitation of the members of the Council were announced professors and teachers, who prepared scientific, methodical manuals and textbooks and they were thanked on behalf of the Council. Also, the team of the Institute, consisting of students and their supervisors, who won the honorable third place in the International Olympiad on Extreme Medicine among 25 teams, held in Dagestan State Medical University of the Russian Federation, was congratulated and awarded.
A 3-year student of the faculty of Therapy Muhammadayubkhon Boboyev, who took the 3rd place at the Republican stage of the contest “Student of the Year – 2019” in the nomination “The Most Knowledgeable Student of the Year”, was encouraged by the institute administration.
Dean of the Faculty of Therapy B.Mamatov made a report on the topic «Application of information and communication technologies in the educational process at the pediatric and therapeutic faculties” as well as on the organization of foreign language lessons in the departments.
Vice-Rector for Innovation and Research G. Khodjimatov informed about the preparations for this year’s conference on «Use of innovative technologies in preventive medicine», «Innovation Fair» and «Republican video conference of young scientists».
The head of the department for quality control of education G.Tuychiev analyzed the results of the online survey of the students, organized in order to improve the quality of education.
Also, the Academic Council addressed issues related to the new literature received by the Fund of Information and Resource Center, the activities of the primary organization of ASMI’s Youth Union of Uzbekistan and other issues.
